House Democrats are leading the fight to bring DOGE out of the darkness and make sure the American people can hold President Trump and Elon Musk accountable for the pain, chaos, and corruption they are leaving in the wake of Elon’s chainsaw.
Oversight Democrats have initiated more than 150 investigations and letters of inquiry, filed a three-part FOIA request, and introduced two formal House Resolutions of Inquiry. These include more than 1,000 requests for information and documentation directed at the Trump Administration, Elon Musk, and DOGE on issues related to national security, the illegal termination of federal employees, the unlawful and wholesale dismantlement of federal agencies, and rampant conflicts of interest and corruption.
Democrats have built a strong coalition of stakeholders both in and out of government to investigate, litigate, and terminate the dangerous and unlawful abuses of DOGE and the Trump-Musk Administration. We are forcing Co-Presidents Trump and Musk into retreat on several fronts.
